Resistance Technology
How does the resistance technology in Fjör products work?
Fjör offers two resistance systems depending on your goals.
The concentric-only system focuses solely on the lifting phase of movement, eliminating the lowering phase — the main source of joint stress and soreness. This creates a safer path to strength with faster recovery.
The dual-phase system trains both the lifting and lowering phases for a complete workout, building power, stability, and muscle definition in a single movement.
Both systems use AI-driven resistance that adapts in real time to keep every rep in your optimal range, maximizing muscle activation and efficiency.
How is this different from standard resistance bands or weights?
Standard resistance bands provide resistance that spikes at peak stretch and drops off at other points in the movement. Fjör's resistance system is engineered to maintain smooth, calibrated tension throughout the entire movement arc — meaning more muscle activation, better form, and real, measurable progress with every session.
Is the resistance adjustable?

What is Possono AI?
Possono AI is Fjör's companion app that gives you a real-time Health Score — a daily snapshot of how your body is performing based on your activity, workout history, recovery, and goals. Think of it as your personal health co-pilot that learns from you every day and gives you smarter recommendations as a result.
What is the Health Score and how is it calculated?
Your Health Score is a personalized metric generated by the Possono AI engine. It takes into account your training load, recovery signals, sleep patterns (where available), and progression over time to give you a single, easy-to-read number. The higher your score, the more ready your body is to perform. The AI gets smarter the more you use it.
How does Possono AI connect to my Fjör gear?
Every Fjör product is built to pair with the Possono AI app. As you train, the app tracks your performance data, updates your Health Score, adjusts your recommended workouts, and identifies patterns in your progress. Your gear and your data work together so you always know exactly where you stand — and what to do next.
